Vocabulary Level Check
Knowing how good your vocabulary range is can be tested in many different ways, but the method we are going to use here is based on a series of vocabulary based frequency lists developed by Batia Laufer & Paul Nation.

There are eighteen questions below, and you have to decide which word is missing from each sentence. The first few letters have been given to you to help. Read each sentence carefully and try to fully understand the meaning. Then write down what you think the answer is for each sentence.

It is suggested that if you score below fifteen out of eighteen that your vocabulary range is below university level.
