The following table of nouns is from my IELTS ebook for part two of the writing test. The ebook also include verbs and adjectives.

Some useful nouns

  1. I think the meaning of addiction should be: Not being able to stop doing something instead of “the condition of not being unable to stop doing something.”

      1. I agree, it seems like we should use “being uable” or “not being able”. Because “not being unable” means “being able”.

  2. Hello Mike,

    The use of “No” with “unable” seems inappropriate to me. So, when I was reading the sentence, I did not think it to be the correct one.


  3. I don’t find the advanced vocabulary for some of the other common topics here, like: Sports.. are you planning to incorporate those as well?
