I’d like to talk about San Francisco, because it’s a place I will never forget. I went there in 1994 for about six months. I went there with a friend of mine who is from Viet Nam. He is a vegetarian, so we couldn’t use any meat when we cooked. I also remember his brother who was a very talented artist. The thing I remember most about San Francisco is that there were many tourist attractions such as Fisherman’s wharf, which had lots of delicious seafood and sour dough bread; and Alcatraz Island, which used to be a prison for murders and other serious criminals.
