Model Answer:
The Internet is one of the most outstanding innovations in the digital age. Although the Internet has the potential to make human lives simple and convenient, it also creates issues. This essay discusses the Internet’s two primary problems and proposes solutions.
One of the main problems caused by the internet is a lack of security for personal information. For instance, online banking transactions or other online services often make private information vulnerable to theft. Needless to say, the damage caused by cyber-crimes is often irreparable. Another annoying problem with the Internet is its ability to create rifts between the real and virtual world. More specifically, the virtual world is so alluring that once hooked it can become an addiction creating both physical and mental issues.
However, there are solutions to alleviate these problems. To address cyber-crime rigorous government regulations on a global scale are needed. In addition, cooperation is needed amongst law enforcement agencies around the world in order to track down and apprehend these criminals who operate across multiple borders. Dealing with addiction requires intertwined cooperation between parents and schools, as most addicted Internet consumers are children. Children should be educated to realise the implications of Internet addictions and also should be encouraged to engage in outdoor activities.
In conclusion, the main problems caused by the Internet are related to crime and addiction. To solve these parents, teachers and governments should participate in eradicating the problems stemming from the Internet. By addressing these issues, people can harness the Internet’s unlimited potential and steer clear of its adverse impacts. [259 words]

Q: The Internet has transformed the way information is shared and consumed, but it has also created problems that did not exist before.
What are the most serious problems associated with the Internet?
What are the best ways to solve them?
Although the internet has brought a drastic change in terms of sharing and using the data, this era is facing some new kind of problems due to it. This essay will shed some light on some of the major problems resulting from this technology and also suggest some ways to tackle them.
With regards to sharing information, the significant issue that arose due to the internet is intruded of privacy. While the internet seems to be a protective and safe platform for many different purposes, it does accumulate many privacy issues. Many websites and social applications get people’s personal details as soon as they log into them, from their personal pictures and current location to even credit card details.
With regards to the consumption of data, the crucial problem is the unauthentic news spread all over the internet. This is because there is usually no check on the information being published on the internet. For instance, people can misuse someone’s picture or secret and sensitive information to misled masses, without any authenticity or proof. Besides pseudo news, even false identities are used on websites to trap innocent people for theft purposes. That is why nowadays we see more electronic theft news rather than physical robberies.
However, the government can deter these issues by setting up some rules for websites to ensure people’s privacy. Even if some website does require some information, it should be mentioned clearly in agreement form. In addition, an electronic government body needs to be designed, which keep a check on every information being aired on the internet. If the published information is a danger or threat in any way, the person or company needs to be immediately penalized for it.
In conclusion, intruders and pseudo-information are the major problems originated due to the internet. The government should ensure people’s privacy and authenticity of information being posted on the internet by introducing some strict laws and checks on social and corporate websites.
