To write Task 2 in 40 minutes consistently, you need:
1 A repeatable structure
2. Practice with Timed writing
3 Strong idea development habits
4 Practice to quickly make a plan before writing
With consistent training over 2–4 weeks, most students who struggle with timing improve dramatically—often gaining half a band score or more.
